ABOUT DE-LEA

De-Lea Deane-Allen is the founder and CEO of Higher Bar Leadership LLC .  As a leadership development, change management, and equity expert, De-Lea has dedicated the last decade to transforming management cultures to be more effective and inclusive in service of results.  In her previous role, De-Lea partnered with senior leaders to transform leadership practices and mindsets, and the results of that work improved the representation of BIPOC leaders in senior leadership by over 60%, improved leader engagement as assessed by equity and inclusion indicators by 29%, and contributed to an over 15% improvement in key outcome measures.  De-Lea brings over 20 years of leadership experience and has served as a confidant and trusted partner to senior leaders, a coach to CEOs, and has supported the onboarding and ongoing professional development of hundreds of leaders.

De-Lea holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Columbia University, and a master’s degree in organizational leadership from Teacher’s College Columbia University. De-Lea is a Pahara Institute Fellow, an ICF certified coach, and she supports leaders as an adjunct coach with The Management Center.
